One major concern for us was to actually assess what the consequences of this neo-liberal regime have been across the various areas of the society, of Indian society not only political, economic but also in media, in culture, in science &amp; Technology, in various areas emanating from the new kind of policies that began to emerge with the neo-liberal regime around 1990.
