History of mankind shows that progress of science has been accompanied by debate and discourse and since the advent of the Copernican revolution, experimentation has become an indispensable component of modern science. In this booklet, some important components and dimensions of scientific reason are introduced to the reader. It is shown that in science the processes of experiment, observation and inference have to be linked with the process of enquiry and reasoning.
